FYI: Tocumen to David air service appears to be coming

The word around the airports is that COPA and one of the local carriers are about to announce a deal where passengers arriving at Tocumen will be able to transfer to a connecting flight to David.
How customs and immigration will work is not known — Transfer direct to plane and then deal with it out in David or go through C & I at Tocumen and then board aircraft. I think the latter is more probable.
IMHO, the carrier based at Albrook will need to step up their pace to make this work.
Whatever they do, it will make things a little easier for travelers arriving here and venturing out to David.
